Gold mining equipment is one of the many applications of the aggregate and mining industry we are involved with. MSI has designed and built projects numbering in the thousands since starting operations in 1978 and can help you custom design a gold recovery plant to fit your needs, utilizing computer modeling and engineering support, along with years of in field experience.
We have taken our knowledge and technology of equipment manufacturing from our large aggregate and mining producing plants over the years and work side by side with gold recovery companies in developing some of the finest recovery units.
We have a long term relationship with a leading gold recovery company, Placer Recoveries Inc., who has over two decades of recovery experience and with over 40 recovery sites, ranging from 50 tons per hour to 1500 tons per hour. Through testing development together we have designed and fabricated many recovery systems over the years from the Yukon throughout the Rocky Mountains. From screens, crushers, sluice boxes, trommels and grizzly feeders to conveyors we work side by side in sharing technology and experience.

MSI TV5 Gold Wash Plant is designed specifically for Fine Gold Recovery, its horizontal design allows for much lower feed height and improved cleaning action of materials. TV5 accepts up to 8" material and incorporates 4 decks for thinning and separation has 16 spray bars with a total of 138 brass spray nozzles. Plant includes two 3' x 20' sluice boxes, a 10 foot long nugget trap and as always per MSI standard all wear areas have replaceable bolt in wear plates, oversized shafts, bearings, and high tensile frame. Our design incorporates a hydraulic folding design so that it can be shipped in an overseas shipping container without disassembly. Our gold trommels have a full power 4 point drive system which eliminates the chain drive and has a full variable speed control. Testing showed that some of the biggest complaints with trommels was screen blockage, so we have taken and installed full rubber octagon screening media to help eliminate this issue, and expensive but needed adaptation. Another advantage with this screen media, is it has 10 to 15 times the life of steel. MSI has many designs for conveyors from overland conveyors to stackable conveyors. As always MSI utilizes computerized design software for all equipment designs.
Our grizzly pan feeders and screen decks incorporate up to 6" drive shafts with oversized bearings and have adjustable throw. They are also reversible (testing shows that reversing an incline feeder in some materials applications may force a better scrubbing action for Placer and Alluvial Gold Recovery, have variable speed drive system to completely fine tune the feeder or screen, are fully lined with bolt on hardened abrasion resistant wear plates, and have a water spray system that is not attached to the vibrating unit (no more broken spray bars).
Dewatering Screens can be incorporated into a recovery plant for a number of reasons, first being water savings by removing the water content of your sluice or jig tailings to a point that the sand that is discharged from the screen is so packed and dewatered that it will break off in large sections, these high impact screens are durable and will give years of continuous running. Next is if the screens are used in junction with a cyclone, a large quantity of the fine sediment can be removed from the water so any sediment build up in your recalculating ponds is kept to a minimum.
We have a wide design selection of main line feeders. From remote controlled grizzly feeders, vibrator feeders, to surge bins. Capacities from 50 TPH to 1500 TPH. All designed to place in-line to then convey to your wash or screening plant.
Mineral jigs have a long history in the recovery of gold, gems and minerals. They can increase gold recovery 10% to 35% and can recover to 300 mesh.
We have designed our Sluice Boxes in a single, double and triple configuration, but not to exceed approximately 3 feet in Riffle width for any section, the reason being is exceeding this width may cause the riffles to defect causing the riffles not to be tight against the carpets. We structurally reinforce our sluices, to endure years of work.
Our gold Concentration table the "Xtruder 255" (Similar to the Gemeni) is considered a gold finishing table and is the final step before smelting and is simple to operate. The Xtruder 255 Shaker Table has full variable speed control, which has a capacity of up to 255 pounds per hour and can recovery fine gold down to -350 to -400 mesh with a minimal water requirement of 6 to 10 gallon per minute, which fresh water can be used or pumped with its own recirculation pump then filtered and reapplied at precise pressure. Our new table package has water circulatory pump and tank, with over sized reusable water filter, pressure valve. All tables will be inspected, tested and pre adjusted with real gold bearing material before shipping.
