S5x Gold Trommel

Our gold trommel the S5x has a full four point power drive system, (Diesel or Electric Driven), which eliminates a chain drive that other brands have encountered problems with. Also has a full variable speed control as well as a extra heavy shell and is completely lined with abrasion resistant plate in all wear areas. It also features additional reinforcement in drive locations, incorporates oversized shafts, and incorporates oversized bearings. Testing showed that some of the biggest complaints with trommels is screen blockage, so we have taken and installed full urethane tapered relief octagon screening media to help eliminate this issue, an expensive but needed adaptation. Another advantage with this screen media is it has 10 to 15 times the life of steel. Additionally, the screen media snaps into place, which takes only minutes instead of days, or even weeks, as with other systems.

S5x Gold Trommel Wash Plant

Up to 125 tons per hour while being used for Dredging, or in the mountains, or jungles,  quick to setup and high gold recovery rates.

Average typical sluice setup recommended is two 30-inch wide by 30 foot long setup. MSI will calculate this for you to best fit your mine site.

Typical water requirement is 600 to 1,300 gallons per minute.
